Continuing Education Credit Courses

WNY R-AHEC’s self-guided courses are virtual trainings that give the learner control. They empower the learner to complete courses on their own time, at their own pace, and at times that suit the learner. Learners can also receive the continuing education credits needed to maintain their professional licensure. WNY R-AHEC offers continuing education credits for the physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work, mental health, and speech language pathology fields.

CE Credit - social determinants of health

Our health is impacted by many non-clinical factors such as where we live, where we work, educational opportunities, economics, and even our access to the internet. This course takes a broad look at those factors with an emphasis on rural communities. Learners should gain a better understanding of these “determinants” and how they impact our health.
